The Osun State Commissioner for Political Affairs and Intergovernmental Relations, Hon Taiwo Akeju, has congratulated the former deputy governor of Osun State and two term senator representing Osun East Senatorial District and a State leader of All Progressive Congress (APC), Sen. Dr Iyiola Christopher Omisore, on the occasion of his 64th birthday anniversary.
In a press statement by the Commissioner, Akeju described Dr Iyiola Omisore as a grassroots politician and pragmatic leader who is committed to the progress and development of the State.
Akeju also lauded the sense of service, commitment, loyalty and maturity with which the former deputy governor has been leading his followers.
He said: “I join family members, friends, associates, party faithful and wellwishers to felicitate with our pragmatic leader, Dr Iyiola Omisore, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary.
“Dr Iyiola Omisore is an exceptional party man and I commend the sense of service, commitment, unalloyed which has been leading his followers. We appreciate him for his contributions to the stability and development of the APC.
“I pray that God Almighty will continue to bless him with the needed wisdom and strength to lead the party and Governor Gboyega Oyetola to victory in 2022 governorship election and grant him sound health and long life in the service of our State, country and humanity at large.”
