Ileri-Oluwa Vendors (IOV), an Osun-based sociopolitical organization devoted to propagation of good governance, has congratulated motorists, commuters especially within Olaiya axis of Osogbo metropolis, other road users and residents of the state on the opening for usage of the newly completed iconic flyover at Olaiya, Osogbo, by *Governor Adegboyega Oyetola*, after months of closure of the multi-link city road.
The organization in a commendatory release issued by its *General Secretary and Head of Publicity, Jimoh Olorede,* similarly congratulated governor Oyetola, saying he has also become an icon in the annals of the state.
Describing Oyetola as an icon in the state polity, the release added that the governor has written his name in gold with his unprecedented strides evidenced in the facelift and development of the state in the last three years of his governance.
According to the release, the *Director General of the sociopolical group, Prince Dayo Babaranti* applauded the governor for his prudent and efficient management of the state's meagre resources out of which he was able to build the overpass for public utility, ease of road users, traffic decongestion, accident prevention and general road safety, among other benefits of the flyover.
He said: "As a group, we commend the governor on the construction of the overpass.
."We particularly laud Oyetola's zeal and hardwork, especially on his conception of the idea and need to construct the flyover after his assumption of office, as it was never part of his electioneering campaign promises to the people.
"With this great relief to greater number of people, we consequently urge residents and indigenes of the state to show appreciation by voting en masse for the re-election of governor Oyetola in the forthcoming gubernatorial election".
As the governor opens the flyover for public usage today, the organization enjoins road users to apply caution, avoid overzealousness, obey traffic rules, and adhere to safety precautionary measures while plying the road.
