Business Tycoon, Kasali Opabola To Be Installed as Babalaje of Osogbo land.

A Business tycoon, Chief Kasali O. Opabola will be installed as the Babalaje of Osogbo land on Friday August 2nd, 2024 by the Ataoja of Osogbo land, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Jimoh Abidemi Oyetunji Olanipekun (Larooye II) at the Ataoja Palace in Osogbo.

The contributions of Chief Opabola to the community made him worthy to be conferred with the chieftaincy title.

Chief Kasali Opabola a son of Osogbo from Olorisaoko Compound Oja-Oba, Osogbo has good intention for the growth of the Osogbo kingdom and more of people like him are needed in the society.

The title conferred on him is a call to serve, and he  promised to contribute his part to the town and humanity.

Chief Kasali O. Opabola born on September 26th, 1950 at Olorisaoko Compound Oja-Oba Osogbo, Nigeria to late father Mr. Oseni Alamu Opabola and late mother Mrs. Humani Adepele Opabola. He attended Loca Authority Primary School Tobatele Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria (1957-1963). He attended Ifewara modern school, Ifewara, Ile-Ife (1964), he proceeded to St John Catholic Hight Ile-Ife (1965-1969). Elementary school teacher at Ile-Ife (1970-1971). Worked at Federal Survey Lagos, Nigeria (1972-1975). Attended Federal School of Surveying, Oyo, Nigeria (1972-1973). He left Nigeria for United State of America in August 1975. He attended Virginia state university Petersburg, Virginia (1975-1978) and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree (Cum Laude) in industrial technology. He married Deannia Opabola since August1978 and blessed with three children; Kasali Jr 1980, Lateef Babatunde-1983, and Micaela Bolanle - 1985, two granddaughters; Adalia Iyabo- 2005, Malencia Yetunde- 2015, and three grandsons; Mael Ladejo - 2010, Kasali 111 Abidemi - 2011, and Eli Opayemi- 2015.

He was employed by International Business Machine (IBM) as an engineer (1979-1993), he was later promoted from Junior engineer to associate engineer (1980), and senior associate engineer in 1982, staff engineer 1988, and advisory Engineer 1991. He received Masters Degree in Business Management from state university of New York Binghamton New York in 1983. He established Opagroup International Inc. (A Real Estate Investment/Property Management Company in 1994. Currently owned and manage several real estate properties.
