Prof. Siji Olamiju (Akol) has described former Deputy Governor of Osun State, Sen.(Dr) Iyiola Omisore as a Stout Pillar of democracy in both the state and federal strata. In a statement released in Osogbo, Osun State, Prof. Olamiju eulogized   Dr. (Engr) Otunba Omisore's immense contributions to the development of Osun State, saying his impact is more than significant 


Since the creation of Osun State, Otunba Omisore has played a pivotal role in its development, serving as Deputy Governor under the Alliance for Democracy (AD) and as a Senator in the National Assembly. Notably, and in records, during his tenure as Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriation, he significantly increased the Osun state's allocation for the well being of the state.


As Otunba Omisore celebrates his 67th birthday, Prof. Olamiju believes he deserves accolades from both the present and future generations. His unwavering commitment to the masses was evident during his tenure as National Secretary of the APC, where he ensured the people's choice prevailed during the presidential primary election, eventually culminated into current administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Renewed Hope for Nigeria. 


As one of the founders of the progressive party, Otunba Omisore has left an indelible mark on society. Prof. Siji Olamiju wishes Sen. Iyiola Omisore has a long life, continued service to the nation." Happy birthday to you sir, my father, my Leader.'
