Osun APC Rejoices With Senator Omisore Over Birthday Anniversary

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has rejoiced with Senator Iyiola Omisore over his birthday anniversary, describing him as an accomplished political leader who has made a positive indelible mark for himself in his journey of life.

The Osun State chairman of the party, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, in a statement issued by the party's Director of Media and Information, Chief Kola Olabisi, today, observed that the Ile-Ife-born political oracle  has become a political map to be studied by the upcoming politicians on how he has been successfully navigating his political journey since his foray into partisan politics.

Lawal stated that the 'Birthday Boy' who is a consummate politician has contributed immensely into the developmental strides of Osun State in particular and the entire nation in general by having the rare privileges of functioning at various times in both the executive and legislative arms of governments at both the state and federal levels.

He enjoined Otunba Iyiola Omisore to continually shower praises and thanksgiving to God Almighty because he is among the divinely bountifully favoured sons of the Source.

The state APC chairman hinted that Senator Omisore, former deputy governor of Osun State, is a proverbial golden fish who has no hiding place as there is no way the political history of the state can be written as a whole without mentioning his name.

In his words: "Otunba Iyiola Omisore, a political juggernaut of the APC extraction who had, at various times, served public offices as a deputy governor, a two-term Senator and National Secretary of the progressive party is a good ambassador  of the party wherever he finds himself.

"The illustrious son of Ile-Ife has, through his philanthropic gestures, touched the lives of a sizeable number of the people known and unknown to him through his annual settling of hospital bills of mendicant patients at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital (OAUTH), Ile-Ife, Osun State.

"The 'Birthday Boy' of today is a political tactician who has remained perpetually evergreen and relevant since the time he ventured into politics and politicking as a tool to serve the people.

"It is for these reasons that I am, on behalf of my family, the state executive officers of our party and members of our party, congratulating Senator Iyiola Omisore, an accomplished engineer, on his birthday anniversary today.

"May God Almighty be magnanimous with him to celebrate many more quality years in the land of the living in the overall benefit of those who are drinking from his milk of knowledge", Sooko Lawal prayed.
