Brave Women President, Matilda Farinde, Condoles with IJESA Sons, Daughters Over Oba Aromolaran's Death

The Brave Women Association Worldwide President, Evang. Matilda Farinde has expressed his condolences to the people of Ijesaland and Osun State over the passing of Owa Obokun and paramount ruler of Ijesa land, Oba Dr. Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran (OFR).

Farinde noted that Oba Aromolaran's 42-year reign brought immense development to Ijesaland and Osun State. 

In a statement released to the newsmen in Osogbo, the state capital, Farinde described the monarch's demise as a great loss, particularly at a time when his presence was most needed.

She praised Oba Aromolaran as a renowned writer, publisher, and educationist who made significant impacts on many generations through his books and lectures. 

Evang. Matilda Farinde highlighted the monarch's contributions to education, including inspiring students who wrote WAEC exams in the 1980s with his published works.

She also noted Oba Aromolaran's dedication to development, which led to the establishment of a state university in Ilesa, creating employment opportunities for the people of Ijesaland and Osun.

Farinde urged the Osun State government to immortalize Oba Aromolaran's legacy and prayed for the peaceful rest of his soul.
