Celebration of a visionary leader @ 70th Ilerioluwa. Says Akol

Alhaji Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola, the former Governor of Osun and current Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, is celebrating his 70th birthday on September 29, 2024. 

Prof. Siji Olamiju, also known as Akol, has praised Oyetola as a visionary leader who transformed Osun state despite COVID-19 lchallenges. Olamiju, who worked with Oyetola as his Cabinet member in charge of Public Health, noted that Oyetola's administration achieved tremendous developments with limited resources that were coming to Osun.

Some of the achievements highlighted by Olamiju include. Tremendous developmentt Osun state, witnessed significant growth during Oyetola's administration

Effective Resource Management. Oyetola utilized limited resources to make Osun proud as a state. 

Oyetola's administration demonstrated good governance, assigning tasks to competent individuals , which earned him both national and

International Recognitions. The collective achievements of the  Public Health interventions and Oyetola's administration made Nigeria proud globally, leading to WHO/ UNICEF increasing Budget support for Nigeria in Millions of Dollars. 

To celebrate Oyetola's 70th birthday, a series of events have been planned, including Free Medical and Surgical Outreach across the state.A four-day outreach program to treat the vulnerable and needy populations of common diseases  and another 2 day Surgical operations for those who do not have means of getting #50,000 to #600,000 for their needed surgeries, to have them free of charge. 

Distribution of  food items  to less-privileged members of society, Lecture and Prayer Session while a grand finale event will be held at Oyetola's residence in Iragbiji 

These series of laudable events demonstrate Oyetola's commitment to the well-being of Osun citizenry  and his legacies as a visionary Leader.
