NUJ OSBC Chapel bestowed An Award of Excellence On Engr. Olalekan Badmus

Engr. Olalekan Badmus, Executive Director of Marine and Operations, has just received a prestigious Award of Excellence in Grassroot Empowerment from the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Osun State Broadcasting Corporation (OSBC) Chapel. 


This honor recognizes his remarkable initiatives empowering women and youth in Osun State, particularly through scholarship and educational support programs for underprivileged individuals.


As a seasoned administrator and development enthusiast, Badmus has made significant contributions to both private and public sectors. His appointment as Executive Director of Marine and Operations by President Bola Tinubu is a testament to his expertise. Previously, he served as Commissioner for Regional Integration and Special Duties in Osun State from 2019 to 2022.


The award ceremony took place at the OSBC NUJ Resource Center in Ile-Awiye Oke Baale, Osogbo, with Mr. Mayowa Oloso, Chairman of the OSBC Board of Directors, presenting the award to Comrade Kehinde Ayantunji, representing Engr. Badmus.


This recognition highlights Badmus's commitment to community development and empowerment, aligning with President Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda and the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola's guidance.
