The Corps Commander of Osun Amotekun, Dr. Hon Adekunle Isaac Omoyele, On Sunday hosted the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) OSBC Chapel, encouraging members to positively promote the security outfit.
During a reception at St. Michael C&S Cathedral in Egbatedo, Osogbo, Omoyele praised the journalists for their ongoing support and urged them to continue sharing beneficial insights about the corps. He highlighted that Amotekun is developing technological tools to monitor the state and its borders, enhancing crime prevention efforts.
Omoyele emphasized the unity among personnel, which has been crucial in combating crime effectively. He reaffirmed Amotekun's commitment to ensuring safety and security in Osun.
Mrs. Jolaade Victoria Igbaroola, Director General of OSBC Conglomerate, expressed gratitude to Dr. Omoyele for his support, noting the significant role Amotekun plays in safeguarding lives and properties in the state. She expressed confidence in his leadership to elevate the outfit further.
