Akol Extols Gen. Alani Akinrinade as NADECO Leader celebrates 85th birthday.

General Alani Akinrinade, a renowned Nigerian military officer, has reached a milestone birthday, celebrating 85 years of life, service, and dedication to Nigeria. 


As a former Chief of Army Staff and NADECO Leader, General Akinrinade's bravery and pivotal role in Nigeria's unity and democracy have earned him widespread recognition and admiration among both the dead and the living. 


Professor Siji Olamiju of  the All Progressives party in Osun State, joined other Yoruba Leaders to celebrate General Akinrinade's birthday, praising his courage in leading NADECO during the military regime of General Sani Abacha.


 Olamiju emphasized that Nigeria's history would be incomplete without acknowledging General Akinrinade's contributions, highlighting his dedication to the nation, even at old age. 


General Akinrinade's impressive military career spans several decades, with notable positions including Chief of Defence Staff and Chief of Army Staff. He was also a member of the Supreme Military Council during the regimes of General Murtala Muhammed and Olusegun Obasanjo.


Olamiju concluded by praying for Renowned Warlord that he continues to serve the nation but in good health, especially supporting the Renewed Hope Vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for Nigeria and Nigerians.
