Osogbo Prince, E-Lion Adebayo caution Osun Govt. For Allocating Land To A Private Estate Developer

The Osun State Government’s decision to allocate part of the Government Technical College land to a private estate developer is condemnable, it further shows that the government prioritizes private profit over public welfare and the educational future of the Osogbo community. 

One would have expected that the land would be better used for expanding educational facilities, creating a vocational innovation hub, establishing recreational spaces, building a community resource centre, or developing an agricultural training and research centre. 

If it's not too late it's better to call on the government to reconsider this allocation, the land has so many long-term social and economic benefits keeping the land and dedicating it to public education and community development.

I hope the government is not gradually putting itself against the people of Osogbo

1. We may acknowledge the land belongs to the state.

2. Of what benefits is this private estate to the people of Osogbo? 

3. ⁠Were the leaders and people of Osogbo properly consulted before making this move?

4. Osogbo keep looking for lands for developmental use in different fields 

5. There are lands in different areas, including Ringroad and Abere that could have been allocated for this PPP project.
