Badmus, Condoles with the People of Ilobu, Osun State, Nigeria Army Over the Death of COAS Lt. Gen. Lagbaja
The Executive Director of Marine and Operations, Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Engr. Olalekan Abdulrahman Badmus FNSE, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the people of Ilobu, Osun State, and the entire Nigeria Army following the tragic death of the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja.
In a condolences message on his Facebook page, Engr. Badmus described the passing of General Lagbaja as a great loss not only to the Nigerian Army but to the entire nation. He commended the late COAS for his exemplary leadership, dedication to duty, and unwavering commitment to the security and peace of the country.
Engr. Badmus highlighted General Lagbaja’s immense contributions to the advancement of the Nigerian Army and the nation's defense forces during his tenure.
"As a proud son of Ilobu, Osun State, General Lagbaja's legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of all who knew him and worked alongside him. His exceptional leadership, courage, and service to our country have left an indelible mark. His passing is a sad moment for us all, but we must remember his extraordinary contributions in safeguarding our nation and its people," Engr. Badmus stated.
He further extended his condolences to the family of the late COAS, praying that God grants them the strength to bear the loss and eternal rest for his soul.
"On behalf of myself, associates and family, I send my deepest condolences to the family of General Lagbaja, the Nigeria Army, and the people of Ilobu, Osun State. May his soul rest in peace," Engr. Badmus concluded.
