The Federal Polytechnic, Ede Chapter of the National Students' Union (ONSU) is set to host its highly anticipated Annual Oroki Day celebration on Sunday, November 10th, 2024, at the S.O.B Hall, Federal Polytechnic, Ede. This event promises to be an enriching and impactful occasion for students, stakeholders, and the general public.


The theme of this year’s celebration is centered on acknowledging and honoring key individuals and groups who have contributed significantly to the development of Osogbo and its surroundings. As part of the event, the union will present awards to these outstanding individuals in recognition of their tireless efforts in fostering growth and progress within the region.


In a statement issued to newsmen in Osogbo, the President of the union, Comrade Halimi Shakiru Opeyemi (Prince), expressed excitement over the upcoming event, noting that it promises to be a unique blend of inspiration, culture, and community spirit.


The event will feature a series of inspiring guest speakers, who are poised to share valuable insights on the importance of student activism, leadership, and community development. Attendees will also enjoy cultural performances showcasing the rich heritage of the region, as well as interactive sessions designed to foster intellectual engagement among participants.


In addition to the formal ceremonies, the event will also provide ample networking opportunities for students, alumni, and leaders to connect and exchange ideas that can further elevate the growth of Osogbo and its educational institutions. The event which will hold at S.O.B Hall, Federal Polytechnic, Ede on Sunday November 10th, 2024 by 11:00am
