Oyo Speaking Indigenes Of Osun East Senatorial Zone Thanks Tinubu, Oyetola On The Appointment Of Their Son

The Oyo speaking Indigenes of Osun East Senatorial Zones comprising of *Modakeke, Oyopeju with 17 villages in Atakumosa West LGA, Ashipa, Moro, Edunabon, Yakoyo in Ife North LGA, Yekemi in Ife South LGA, Alabama, Sagi, Agbon Paul and Aba Oba as well as other Oyo speaking towns in Oyere, Ilesa and Atakumosa East and West Local Governments* has expressed their deep appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR and HE Adegboyega Oyetola CON, the honourable minister for Marine and Blue Economy of the appointment of Kayode Sowade as the Executive Directors Engineering Services, Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority.

Chief Nathaniel Odeyinka while addressing newsmen on behalf of the Oyo speaking communities praised President Tinubu for his commitment to recognizing and rewarding merit, regardless of ethnic or geographical backgrounds. They also commended Oyetola for his role in facilitating the appointment, which they believe will positively impact the community and the state at large.

In a joint press release made available to the newsmen, the group expressed their satisfaction in the choice of Sowade, stating that the Executive Director is not only capable of delivering on the goals of his new role, he is also a competent administrator who would bring his wealth of experience into achieving the renewed hope agenda of the presidency.

They further thanked the president for rewarding loyalty and competence stating that Sowade is an embodiment of competence, dignity and loyalty just as they reiterated their conviction in the appointee's transformative innovations which would contribute to the nation's growth, development and economic prosperity.

The group affirmed that Sowade's vision for nation building aligns with the presidency's development agenda hence, his appointment is a right step in the right direction.

The communities also thanked the Honourable Minister for Marine and Blue Economy, HE Adegboyega Oyetola CON for his roles in ensuring that Sowade is name Executive Director stating that the minister who sees the future and nurtures leaders who would transform Osun for greatness.

The appointment they stated highlights the premium value the presidency and Oyetola places on  strengthening the bond between the Oyo-speaking communities and other ethnic groups in Osun East, promoting a sense of belonging and shared purpose. They assured the presidency and Oyetola of their support and loyalty whenever they are called upon.
