In a significant move to demonstrate his commitment to the welfare of the people of Ede North, Hon. Ghaffar Ayodeji Ajani (Ghaff Unity) today embarked on a Free Fuel Palliative for motorcycle and tricycle operators in the local government Area. The initiative is in support of the governorship ambition of the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), underscoring Ghaff Unity's dedication to AMBO's vision of a greater Osun.
The initiative tagged "AMBO FREE FUEL" is aimed at alleviating the economic burden on motorists just as it serves as a testament to Ghaff Unity's innovative approach to community development. It is also an evidence of Ghaff's broader efforts to improve the welfare of citizens of Ede North.
Speaking with journalists at the venue of the event Ghaff Unity revealed that he is a firm advocate of Greater Osun under a progressive government, noting that Oyebamiji's vision and master plan for the development of Osun endears him to the APC guber frontrunner.
"Having looked at the profile and exemplary record of service of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji while he served as Commissioner for finance in the state and now as MD/CEO NIWA, I am thrilled to be associated with his governorship ambition, he is a man of a great vision and plan for the economic and infrastructural rejuvenation of Osun.
"What we are doing here today is an affirmation of the progressives commitment to the welfare of our people, AMBO is a leader who places premium on the welfare of Osun citizens, if he is voted in on August 8th, 2026, I can state emphatically that the people of Osun are in for a good time. He is experienced, competent and capable of delivering the Osun of our dreams. As a financial expert, a farmer, entrepreneur and a seasoned administrator, the Oyebamiji administration when voted in next year would ensure a significant turnaround in all sectors of the economy which will enhance the socio-economic wellbeing of all Osun citizens" Ghaffar remarked.
Beneficiaries who are in their thousands commended Ghaff Unity for the noble initiative praising him for demonstrating commitment to their welfare. They praised Ghaffar for the kind gesture stating revealing that the initiative would have a positive impact on their income just as it would help them focus on other pressing financial needs.
Ghaffar used the avenue to call for mass mobilization of persons above the age of 18 years to participate in the ongoing INEC Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) stating that the right to vote starts with the people's resolve to get registered.
