Hon Prof Siji Olamiju aka 'Akol' expresses admiration for the enthusiastic turnout of citizens in the ongoing voter registration exercise. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) commenced online registration on August 18, 2026, providing an opportunity for everyone to exercise their rights in the Osun 2026 and 2027 general elections.
Hon. Prof. Siji Olamiju, a former Cabinet member during Oyetola's administration, terminated his weekly on - the -spot assessment wards tours at the registration centre at Ward 07 in Esa-Oke, Obokun Local Government. According to a statement released by the New Spring Media Team, Olamiju was impressed with the number of registrations, noting that the people have come to realize the importance of voter Registration! in the nation's electioneering process.Je thanked APC leaders and members for their dedicated minds in ensuring sound success of the exercise.
Olamiju also commended the President Tinubu's initiative in subsidizing healthcare costs, thereby reducing the financial burden on citizens. He encouraged all Nigerians to take advantage of this initiative and undergo regular health check-ups at any government hospital throughout the federation.
