A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Boluwaduro, Ila, and Ifedayo Federal Constituency, Dr. Bode Olaonipekun, has extended his heartfelt wishes to Oba Philip Adegboyega Famodun III, Owa of Igbajo Land, on the occasion of his birthday.
This was contained in a congratulatory statement personally signed by him and made available to newsmen in Osogbo, where he described the distinguished monarch as a rare gift to his people and a custodian of tradition whose reign has brought tremendous development to Igbajo Land and beyond.
He stressed that Oba Famodun is a selfless community leader, a versatile and committed progressive whose life is a shining example of dedication to service, adding that the monarch’s relentless passion for his people’s welfare has endeared him not only to the Igbajo community but also to the entire Osun State, where his voice of wisdom and influence is highly respected.
Dr. Olaonipekun further extolled the Kabiyesi as a leader par excellence and a pragmatic authority, whose antecedents both in political office and outside public office speak volumes. He emphasized that the monarch’s sterling record of achievements, coupled with his unshakable commitment to truth and justice, makes him a beacon of hope and an inspiration to all.
He, however, used the occasion of his birthday to pray for long life, robust health, stability, enduring progress, and divine wisdom for Oba Famodun III.
