Commander, Amotekun Osun, Omoyele Reiterates Cordial Relationship With Journalists ...Declares Support For NUJ, OSBC 2025 Press Week

The Commander of the Western Nigeria Security Network and Amotekun Corps, Osun State Command, High Chief Dr Hon Isaac Adekunle Omoyele, has reiterated his commitment to maintaining a cordial relationship with men of Pen profession; saying Journalists are indispensable companions for any organisation or individual who is poised to succeed. 

Dr. Omoyele stated this while receiving the executive members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, OSBC Chapel, led by the chairman, Comrade Lateef Agboola, during a courtesy visit to his office, in Osogbo.

The Commander, Osun Amotekun, who has been partnering with the union since he assumed his present position; also used the avenue to express his readiness to work in collaboration with the NUJ, OSBC Chapel, to ensure that the forthcoming press week is successful. 

Flanked by his deputy, Comrade Olawumi Olaniyi; the General Secretary, Comrade Kamil Raheem and the treasurer, Comrade Bukola Osunwo, the chairman, NUJ, OSBC Chapel, Comrade Lateef Agboola, had earlier informed Dr Omoyele that his team was in his office to renew the cordial relationship between the Amotekun Osun and the NUJ, OSBC Chapel. 

Comrade Agboola felicitated with Dr Omoyele on his installation as the Onijegun of Ijegun, Iseyin, by the Aseyin of Iseyinland, Oba Sefiu Olawale Oyebola, Olayeri the third, in May this year. 

The Osun Amotekun's Commander, who reiterated his readiness to host the Church Service to usher in the 2025 Press Week of the NUJ, OSBC Chapel, slated forSeptember28; also appreciated the union for maintaining and sustaining the cordiality between the two organisations. 

Highlight of the visit was the presentation of the frame to Dr Omoyele. to identify with him on his installation as the Onijegun of Ijegun in Iseyin.
