There is indication that South African Authorities have refused to provide landing space and time for Nigerian delegation, comprising of players and officials expected to land in Johannesburg on Sunday ahead of crucial 2026 World Cup qualifier.
Sources from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) confirmed that all efforts to get the attention of South African country’s leadership has proved abortive.
Efforts to also confirm the latest development by the South Africa’s embassy has not yielded any positive response.
Last week, the South African embassy in Nigeria refused to grant entry visas to some members of the Nigerian delegation which also includes members of the Supporters club for the qualifier.
There have also been alleged denial of landing permit to initial plane arrangement to accomodate enlarged delegation from Nigeria.
