Hon. Funmilayo Olasehinde, a member shippers council of Nigeria and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, has extended warm congratulations to Christian faithful across the state as they celebrate the 2025 Christmas season.
Hon. Olasehinde described Christmas as a period that symbolizes love, peace, sacrifice, and unity, urging Christians to reflect on the teachings of Jesus Christ by showing compassion, tolerance, and kindness to one another.
She encouraged them to extend these virtues beyond the festive season by supporting the less privileged and vulnerable members of society.
She also extends her greetings to the leader of the party in Osun State and Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola and his wife Alhaja Kafayat Oyetola, APC State Chairman, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, National Secretary of the party, Sen. Ajibola Basiru and other leaders of the party and members.
According to her, the celebration should serve as a reminder of the importance of harmonious coexistence among people of different faiths and backgrounds, which she noted remains vital to the progress and stability of Osun State.
In the same vein, Hon. Olasehinde called on residents of the state to rally behind the All Progressives Congress ahead of the 2026 Osun State governorship election. She specifically urged voters to support the APC candidate, Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji, whom she described as a tested and capable leader with a people-oriented agenda.
She expressed confidence that Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji’s vision and good governance blueprint would foster sustainable development, economic growth, and improved welfare for the people of Osun State if elected.
Hon. Olasehinde concluded by wishing all Christians a joyful Christmas celebration and praying for peace, progress, and prosperity in Osun State and Nigeria at large.
