Hon. Akin Omidiji, an aspirant for the Osun State House of Assembly representing Obokun State Constituency, has congratulated Asiwaju Bola Munirudeen Oyebamiji on his emergence as the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming Osun State governorship election.
In a congratulatory message issued after the conclusion of the party’s primary election, Hon. Omidiji described Asiwaju Oyebamiji as “a round peg in a round hole,” noting that his victory reflects the confidence of party members in his capacity, experience, and leadership qualities to steer Osun State toward greater development.
Hon. Omidiji commended the leadership of the APC in Osun State for their unity, maturity, and collective resolve in rallying support around Asiwaju Oyebamiji, which he said strengthened the party’s internal cohesion and democratic process. He further applauded the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola, and the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for their roles in fostering peace, fairness, and stability among all contenders before and during the primary election.
He also praised the other aspirants who participated in the primary for demonstrating sportsmanship and party loyalty by supporting the emergence of Asiwaju Oyebamiji, describing their actions as a show of commitment to the progress and unity of the APC.
Hon. Omidiji reaffirmed his support for the party’s candidate and expressed confidence that, with collective effort and unity of purpose, the APC would record a resounding victory in the 2026 Osun State governorship election.
