A grassroots politician and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Tayo Adegoke, popularly known as Tayo Ijabe, has congratulated Hon. Asiwaju Munirudeen Oyebamiji (AMBO) on his emergence as the APC governorship candidate in Osun State.
In a congratulatory statement issued personally signed from his country home in Ijabe, Odo-Otin Local Government Area of Osun State, Hon. Tayo Adegoke described the emergence of Oyebamiji as well-deserved and a clear reflection of the collective will of party leaders, stakeholders, and members across the state.
He commended the APC for conducting a transparent, peaceful, and credible process that produced Asiwaju Munirudeen Oyebamiji as its flag bearer, noting that such internal democracy further strengthens the unity of the party and boosts public confidence in its leadership.
Hon. Tayo reaffirmed his unwavering loyalty to the APC and pledged his total support to the party and its governorship candidate. He assured the party leadership and Asiwaju Oyebamiji of his readiness and commitment to deliver Odo-Otin Local Government for the APC in the forthcoming governorship election.
While calling for sustained unity within the party, Hon. Tayo urged APC leaders at all levels not to relent in reconciliation efforts wherever necessary, stressing that inclusiveness, cooperation, and team spirit remain crucial to achieving total victory.
He further stated that the responsibility before the party goes beyond winning the governorship election, adding that it is time for Osun State to compensate Mr. President with massive votes in the 2027 presidential election, as a show of appreciation for his leadership and commitment to national development.
Hon. Tayo Adegoke concluded by wishing Asiwaju Munirudeen Oyebamiji a successful campaign and prayed for victory for the APC in all forthcoming elections.
