The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Spain, Ambassador Adeayo Tella, has extended warm congratulations to Nigerians at home and in the diaspora on the successful entry into the year 2026.
In his New Year message, Amb. Tella described the new year as a season of renewed opportunities, unity, and collective responsibility, urging Nigerians to remain hopeful and steadfast in supporting the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He called on citizens to rally behind the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda, noting that the agenda is designed to reposition Nigeria for sustainable economic growth, national stability, and long-term development. According to him, the ongoing reforms, though challenging, are necessary steps toward building a stronger and more resilient nation.
Amb. Tella specifically highlighted the Tax Reform Policy of the Tinubu administration, describing it as a critical measure aimed at strengthening government revenue, improving public service delivery, and reducing overdependence on oil income. He encouraged Nigerians to view the reforms with patience and understanding, stressing that their benefits will become more evident over time.
“The Renewed Hope Agenda represents a bold vision for Nigeria’s future. As citizens, both at home and in the diaspora, we have a duty to support policies that will ultimately secure economic stability and prosperity for our nation,” he stated.
The APC Spain Chairman further urged Nigerians in the diaspora to remain engaged in national development efforts by promoting Nigeria’s image abroad, supporting democratic values, and contributing positively to economic growth through investment and advocacy.
He concluded by wishing Nigerians a peaceful, prosperous, and progressive year 2026, calling for unity, patriotism, and collective commitment to national progress.
