The Otun Babaloja of Sasa Market, Osogbo, and the representative of the Ataoja of Osogboland across all markets in Osogbo, Alhaji Chief Kamarudeen Yusuf Efe, has extended warm congratulations to the good people of Osun State as they usher in the year 2026.
In his New Year goodwill message, Alhaji Kamarudeen Yusuf Efe congratulated the Ataoja of Osogboland, His Royal Majesty Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun, Larooye II; the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke; the APC National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru; renowned legal practitioner Barrister Kunle Rasheed Adegoke SAN (K-Rad); the INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner, Professor Adeniran Tella; the Asiwaju of Osogboland, Justice Moshud Adekunle Adeigbe (Rtd.); former Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola; Asiwaju Musulumi of the South West, Edo and Delta States, Asiwaju Khamis Tunde Badmus; Engineer Olalekan Badmus (Omoolore), MD and Founder of Al-Sunnah and Al-Madinah Academy; Sheikh Dr. Fadhl Al-Imam, and other distinguished personalities.
He expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for sparing their lives to witness the year 2026 in good health, peace, and prosperity, while praying for continued wisdom and strength for them to contribute meaningfully to the development of Osun State and Nigeria at large.
Alhaji Kamarudeen Yusuf Efe also used the occasion to commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola, for facilitating the reappointment of Professor Adeniran Tella as the INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner. He described the reappointment as well-deserved and a source of pride to the people of Osogbo.
He recalled that on Wednesday, 31st December 2024, indigenes of Osogbo trooped out in large numbers to the palace of the Ataoja to celebrate Professor Tella’s reappointment, describing the event as a reflection of the people’s confidence in his integrity, competence, and service to the nation.
Alhaji Kamarudeen Yusuf Efe concluded by wishing all residents of Osun State a peaceful, prosperous, and progressive year 2026.
