Primate Elijah Ayodele, head of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, issued a stark warning in a Facebook video, predicting that politicians who have misappropriated public funds would be publicly shamed in 2026. He also encouraged Nigerians to pray against crises, explosions, and other calamities that could affect the country.
Speaking prophetically, Ayodele stated that the new year would expose leaders who have unlawfully enriched themselves. “Those politicians who stole Nigeria’s money, they will face embarrassment in 2026,” he declared.
He expressed concern over potential unrest at the highest levels of government, urging prayers to avert turmoil. “We must pray against crisis in the villa,” he said, warning that political tensions could spiral without spiritual intervention.
The cleric also cautioned about dangers in public spaces, particularly marketplaces, forecasting possible fire and other explosions. “There will be market explosions, fire explosions in the market. Fire, fire in the market,” he stressed.
Ayodele criticized public figures, including wealthy athletes, for their failure to support the needy. He was especially harsh toward politicians, labeling them the worst, and blamed their neglect for ongoing societal hardships.
He concluded by linking persistent national crises and disasters to ethical lapses among leaders, suggesting that the moral shortcomings of the elite are directly tied to the challenges facing the nation.
