A leading House of Representatives aspirant for Osogbo/Olorunda/Irepodun/Orolu Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections, Akogun Raji Abioye, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah across the constituency and Osun State at large on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In his congratulatory message, Akogun Abioye commended Muslims for their unwavering devotion, discipline, and spiritual commitment demonstrated throughout the 30-day period of fasting, prayer, and charity.
He noted that Ramadan represents not only a time of abstinence but also a period of deep reflection, moral rejuvenation, and renewed dedication to the values of peace, sacrifice, and compassion.
He urged the Muslim faithful to sustain the virtues imbibed during Ramadan—such as tolerance, generosity, humility, and love for one another—beyond the festive period, emphasizing that these principles are essential for building a harmonious and progressive society.
Akogun Abioye further called on residents of the constituency and Nigerians at large to use the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr to strengthen the bonds of unity, irrespective of religious or ethnic differences. He stressed that collective commitment to peace and mutual understanding remains vital for the socio-economic development of Osun State and the nation.
While wishing all Muslim faithful a joyous and peaceful celebration, he prayed that the blessings of Ramadan bring continued prosperity, good health, and divine guidance to every home.
“May the lessons of Ramadan continue to guide our actions, and may this Eid usher in renewed hope, unity, and progress for our people,” he stated.
