A renowned philanthropist and entrepreneur, Barrister Atitebi Kazeem Abiodun, has extended warm greetings and heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim Ummah in Osun State and across Nigeria on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the 30-day Ramadan fast.
In a statement released to the media, Barr. Atitebi described Eid-el-Fitr as a significant spiritual milestone that symbolizes sacrifice, discipline, devotion, and unwavering faith in Allah. He commended Muslims for their commitment throughout the holy month of Ramadan, noting that the period serves as a time for deep reflection, self-purification, and renewed dedication to righteous living.
He urged the faithful to celebrate the festival with moderation, humility, and gratitude, emphasizing that the essence of Ramadan should not end with the festivities. According to him, the values of patience, compassion, generosity, and self-restraint cultivated during the fasting period must be sustained in everyday life.
Barr. Atitebi further encouraged Muslims to remain steadfast in their spiritual journey and to avoid returning to actions and behaviors for which they had sought forgiveness during Ramadan. He stressed the importance of continuous personal growth, moral discipline, and adherence to the teachings of Islam beyond the holy month.
He also called on Nigerians, irrespective of religious or ethnic differences, to embrace unity, peace, and mutual respect, especially during this festive period. He highlighted the need for collective efforts toward national development, urging citizens to promote harmony and understanding in their communities.
“As we celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, let us carry forward the lessons of Ramadan—love, sacrifice, tolerance, and faith—and use them to build a better, more peaceful society,” he stated.
Barr. Atitebi concluded by wishing all Muslims a joyous and peaceful Eid celebration, praying that Allah accepts their عبادات (acts of worship), forgives their shortcomings, and grants them continued blessings, good health, and prosperity.
Eid Mubarak to all Muslim faithful.
