A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ife South Local Government Area of Osun State, Hon. Najeem Oyewumi, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan and the joyous celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.
In a goodwill message released on the occasion, Hon. Oyewumi congratulated Muslim faithful across Ife South Constituency and beyond for their spiritual devotion, discipline, and commitment demonstrated during the 30-day fasting period.
He noted that Ramadan represents a time of deep reflection, sacrifice, and renewed faith, urging adherents to sustain the virtues of peace, compassion, tolerance, and generosity imbibed during the holy month.
The APC chieftain emphasized the importance of unity, love, and collective responsibility in building a prosperous society. He called on residents of Ife South to continue to live in harmony irrespective of religious or political differences, stressing that development can only thrive in an atmosphere of peace and cooperation.
Hon. Oyewumi also used the opportunity to rally support for the APC ahead of the forthcoming Osun State governorship election scheduled for August 15, 2026.
He urged constituents to come out en masse to support and vote for the party’s governorship candidate, Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji, describing him as a visionary leader with the capacity to deliver meaningful development and ensure the dividends of democracy are felt across the state.
According to him, electing the APC candidate would guarantee continuity of progressive governance, improved infrastructure, economic growth, and enhanced welfare for the people of Osun State.
He concluded by wishing all Muslim faithful a peaceful and joyous Eid-el-Fitr celebration, praying that the blessings of the season bring lasting peace, prosperity, and progress to Ife South, Osun State, and Nigeria at large.
