The Principal of the Alubarika Movement and National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, Ph.D., today convened a strategic meeting with Alubarika stakeholders drawn from all the local government areas of Osun State to strengthen grassroots mobilisation ahead of the forthcoming governorship election.
Addressing the gathering, Senator Basiru expressed profound appreciation to stakeholders for their unwavering support, solidarity, and prayers during the burial and Fidau of his late mother, Alhaja sidikat Abake Basiru. He acknowledged the remarkable demonstration of love shown by members of the Movement across the state and commended them for their steadfast commitment to the ideals and vision of the Alubarika Movement.
Speaking on the forthcoming election, the Principal charged all stakeholders to intensify grassroots political engagement by taking the AMBO message to every ward and community across Osun State. He urged them to sustain strategic engagements with traditional and community leaders, market and traders’ associations, labour unions, civil society organisations, youth and women groups, and other critical stakeholders whose influence remains vital to the success of the campaign. Senator Basiru made it unequivocally clear that the Alubarika Movement is fully committed to the aspiration of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji(AMBO), stressing that every structure and organ of the Movement must work in unity, and with renewed determination to secure victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the forthcoming governorship election.
In their separate remarks, stakeholders from the various local government areas assured the Principal that grassroots mobilisation was already yielding positive results across the state. They informed him that sustained consultations, community engagements, and strategic political outreach had commenced in their respective areas, with encouraging responses from the electorate. Reaffirming their loyalty to the Alubarika Movement, they pledged to intensify their efforts and expand the campaign until every community is effectively reached, expressing confidence in delivering overwhelming support for the APC and its candidate.
Speaking on behalf of the stakeholders, the Movement Chairman, Alhaji Kehinde Olamolu expressed heartfelt appreciation to Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru for his exemplary leadership, consistent support, and unwavering commitment to the welfare and growth of the Movement. He assured the Principal that the stakeholders remain united, fully mobilised, and firmly positioned to coordinate the Movement’s activities across the state, promising that no effort would be spared in ensuring the successful actualisation of the AMBO project.
The meeting was attended by members of the Alubarika Movement management team, including Alhaji Kehinde Olamolu, Rt. Hon. Akintunde Adegboye, Rt. Hon. Taiwo Sumonu, Hon. Adeoye Adelakun, Hon. Jayeiola Alagbada, Hon. Rafiu Fatoki, Comrade Waheed Adediran, alongside other leaders and stakeholders from across Osun State.
The meeting concluded with a renewed sense of purpose and collective resolve as stakeholders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the Movement’s grassroots structures, consolidating public support, and working in unison to secure a decisive victory for the All Progressives Congress and its governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), in the forthcoming Osun State governorship election.
