...As APC Campaign Train Storms Ijesa-South
A revered traditional ruler in Osun, His Imperial Majesty, Owa Obokun Adimula of Ijesaland, Oba Clement Adesuyi Haastrup, has eulogised the political antecedents of the Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji popularly called AMBO.
The revered traditional ruler prayed for Oyebamiji's victory saying "your prayers would be answered and you would become victorious."
This is even as Oyebamiji pledged to complete ongoing water scheme in Ijesaland among other developmental projects when elected Governor.
The APC governorship campaign train stormed Ijesa-South Federal Constituency which comprises Atakumosa West, Atakumosa East, Ilesa-West and Ilesa-East local Government Areas.
Speaking in his palace, Oba Haastrup commended Oyebamiji's indelible imprints in both public and private sectors most significantly while serving as the Honourable Commissioner of Finance and Managing Director, National Inland Waterways Authority, NIWA.
Oba Haastrup recalled the overwhelming support received from the leaders and members of the APC most significantly the immediate past Osun State Governor and current Minister of Marine and Blue Economics, Adegboyega Oyetola, when vying for the coveted stool of Owa Obokun Adimula of Ijesaland.
The revered monarch also lauded the erstwhile Governor Oyetola for his outstanding performance and leadership quality describing him as a good ambassador of the state and proud citizen whose immense contributions to the growth and upliftment of the state and Nigeria can not be measured.
According to him, the swift interventions of the APC leader in the state in respect of the quest to ensure reconstruction of Akure-Ilesa-Ibadan is remarkable and commendable.
Oba Haastrup prayed God to grant Oyebamiji's heart desires and crowned his efforts with victory at the poll.
Echoing similar gesture, the traditional rulers in Atakumosa East and West local government areas commended Oyebamiji's innate qualities just as they showered royal blessings and prayed for his victory.
Addressing the monarchs and mammoth crowds at the campaign venues, Oyebamiji promised to set the state on the path of greatness by prioritising critical sectors that would impact greatly in the people's lives.
AMBO who expressed confidence in victory said "the large crowds of the genuine members of our party and residents are testaments to our victory"
Recall that Oyebamiji's candidacy has been receiving huge support and endorsement from the residents of the state as his campaign train had toured Obokun , Oriade, Egbedore, Ejigbo, Ede-North, Ede South, Ifedayo, Ila, Boluwaduro, Odo-Otin, Ifelodun, Boripe, Ilesa-West, Ilesa-East, Atakumosa-East and Atakumosa-West respectively.
