The State of Osun Commissioner For Special Duties and Regional Integration, Hon Engr Olalekan Badmus, today while plying through Agunbelewo Area of Osogbo on his weekend scheduled Road walk, He stumbled on a boxing booth dotted with a lot of lads of different ages, He was further marvelled by their dedication to the boxing sport from afar.

According to him, "I moved closer to them and also realised how very organised they are. I watched on as they trained and sparred for several hours and I still can't imagine such a well organised regimented training could be happening within that area.

Their trainer, popularly called Coach West, works with the state as Assistant Boxing Coach and he is boxing up some talents at the moment. He is dedicated to the sport. As a matter of fact, he has won bronze medals on from representing the state in competitions. He inspires these youths and puts a lot of commitment to it.

I gave them a token on me for them to take drinks as I promised that I would table this discovery before my Honourable colleague in the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Special Needs to see how to further engage our youths on such grand scale as my principal has a burning desire to float programmes that would engage our youths lucratively across all strata of life.
