In a heartfelt statement, Prof. Siji Olamiju, popularly known as Akol, a former cabinet member for Public Health during the Oyetola's  administration, celebrates Hon. Adekunle's (aka CONGO) birthday. Olamiju witnessed  personally  the good legacies of Adekunle's chairmanship of Ife Central Local Government, which left a lasting impression on his memory. 


In his words, "I was a 400 level student of Ife  Pharmacy School in the year 2000 while Hon Adekunle Congo  was serving as Chairman of Ife Central Local Government. Congo  always came to the Stadium/Appolo Market area  where i resided as an off-campus Obafemi Awolowo University student. Dr. Adekunle would always be dressed  in complete white flowing Agbada ( a complete Yoruba outfit for culturally responsible men)


Olamiju extolled Adekunle's intellectuality, diplomacy, gentleness, and progressive nature, noting his exceptional legacy and dedication to the  APC and the Nation Nigeria at large. 


He wishes Hon. Adekunle 'Congo' has many more years of service to humanity and the party.

Adekunle's administrative prowess has made Osun proud, Olamiju concluded.
