Governor Adeleke To Host Brave Women Association On Tuesday

Governor Ademola Adeleke is set to host the Brave Women Association on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. This meeting aims to discuss the association's demands for women's protection and seek the governor's support for women in the state.

The association which has been in existence since 1980, has been assisting women, especially widows, to be good ambassadors of their families and the nation at large.

The association had helped numerous women, orphans and the needy in Nigeria and beyond.

As governor, Ademola Adeleke has been actively engaging with various groups and organizations. Recently, he hosted the Ife Development Board, emphasizing the need for Ile Ife's infrastructure development, including flyovers and dualized roads.

This was made available to the newsmen in Osogbo by the Worldwide President of the Association, Evang. Matilda Farinde, she said the meeting with the governor will create an avenue to table their demand for the protection of women and to seek governor support for the women in state.

Farinde commend the governor for performing wonders since he assumed office as the governor of the state with his intervention in Infrastructure, Health, Agriculture, Security, Education and many other sectors. She urged him not to relent on his plans to take the state to a greater heights in no distant time.

She also applauds Yeye Dupe Sanni for her tremendous support towards the betterment of the Association and the women in state.
