Asiwaju of Osogboland, Hon. Justice Adeigbe (Rtd.), Inaugurates Special Committee for 15th Coronation Anniversary of Oba Jimoh Oyetunji

In a move marking the beginning of a grand celebration, the Asiwaju of Osogboland, (Hon. Justice) Moshud Adekunle Adeigbe (Rtd.), has officially inaugurated a Special Celebration Committee to coordinate and oversee the planning and execution of the 15th Coronation Anniversary of His Royal Majesty, Oba Jimoh Abidemi Oyetunji Olanipekun Larooye II, the Ataoja of Osogboland.

The inauguration ceremony was held at the historic palace of the Ataoja of Osogbo, where traditional leaders, dignitaries, and community stakeholders gathered in a show of support and reverence for the monarch whose reign has spanned a remarkable fifteen years of peace, cultural renaissance, and developmental strides.

Justice Adeigbe, in his keynote address, expressed confidence in the committee’s capacity to deliver a befitting celebration worthy of the Ataoja’s legacy. He urged the members to discharge their duties with integrity, dedication, and unity of purpose.
“You have been carefully chosen for this responsibility not just for your capacities, but for your deep-rooted commitment to Osogbo and its heritage. I urge you not to disappoint the trust reposed in you by me and other leaders who nominated you,” Justice Adeigbe stated.

The Special Committee comprises a diverse group of esteemed professionals, community leaders, and traditional chiefs, whose collective experience is expected to guide the planning of a memorable anniversary. The members are:
