The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, National Inland Waterways Authority, NIWA, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, popularly called AMBO, has eulogized the foremost traditional ruler, the Ataoja of Osogboland, His Royal Majesty, Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun, Larooye II, on the occasion of his 15th year coronation anniversary.
Oyebamiji, a leading aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the forthcoming governorship election in Osun State, heartily congratulated the revered monarch for bringing his wealth of experience to bear since ascension to the throne of his forebears.
The NIWA boss, in a congratulatory message, acknowledged the continued reign of unity, harmony and steady developments that the town has witnessed during his reign.
Oyebamiji added: "Celebrating the glorious reign of our father, the Ataoja of Osogboland, His Royal Majesty, Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun, Larooye II, is to celebrate all round success, indellible imprints and legacies of peace, unity, cohesion, prosperity and tranquility.
"It is incontestable that Oba Olanipekun's reign has brought monumental achievements to the town and his subjects in particular, and humanity in general. I am proud to identify with and celebrate our father for witnessing this memorable occasion. It is a testament to faithfulness, consistency, diligence, unprecedented passion and love for his subjects and the ancient town. It is on record that our Kabiyesi has been providing quality leadership that has strengthened and fostered unity, love, tolerance, orderliness, peaceful coexistence between and among his subjects - sons and daughters of Osogbo and entire residents of the capital city.

He is a highly cerebral monarch with a difference, and notable custodian of Yoruba culture, tradition, norms and customs.
