Two Arrested, Cash Recovered As Security Operatives Engage Kidnappers In Kwara


Two suspected kidnappers of Yoruba and Fulani tribes have been arrested in Kwara State, following a gun battle with combined forces of soldiers, local vigilantes, and hunters at Ero Dam, Odo Owa community, in Oke-Ero and Ekiti local government areas of Kwara State. 




Report says the arrests followed intelligence reports

It was gathered that the suspects had been terrorizing the area. 

Cash in naira and dollars was recovered.

Report has it that angry community members subsequently burned property, including vehicles belonging to the suspects.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has given the names of the two suspects arrested as Bunmi, an indigene of Odo Owa and Ramoni, who is a Fulani man.
