The former Member of the Osun State House of Assembly representing Osogbo State Constituency and Chairman of the AMBO Movement in Osogbo State Constituency, Hon. Engr. Badamasi Olatunde Taofeek Abolubode (BOT), has extended warm felicitations to Christian faithful in Osogbo and its environs on the occasion of the 2025 Christmas celebration.
In his goodwill message, Hon. Abolubode described Christmas as a season of love, peace, sacrifice, and renewed hope, urging residents to reflect on the core values exemplified by the birth of Jesus Christ. He called on Christians to continue to pray for unity, peace, and sustainable development in Osogbo, Osun State, and Nigeria at large.
The former lawmaker commended the resilience and cooperation of residents despite prevailing socio-economic challenges, encouraging them to remain steadfast and supportive of initiatives aimed at improving governance and grassroots development.
Hon. Abolubode also used the occasion to call on the good people of Osun State to rally behind the All Progressives Congress (APC) and support its governorship candidate, Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji, in the forthcoming 2026 governorship election.
According to him, Oyebamiji possesses the experience, competence, and vision required to consolidate development and deliver people-oriented governance across the state.
He emphasized that collective support for the APC would ensure continuity, stability, and accelerated progress in Osun State, particularly at the grassroots level.
Hon. Abolubode concluded by wishing Christians on behalf of his family, friends and associates a joyful Christmas celebration and a prosperous New Year ahead, praying that the season brings renewed hope, good health, and lasting peace to every household.
