A community leader and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Hon. Najeem Oyewumi, has extended warm congratulations to Christian faithful across the state as they celebrate the 2025 Christmas season.
Hon. Oyewumi described Christmas as a period that symbolizes love, peace, sacrifice, and unity, urging Christians to reflect on the teachings of Jesus Christ by showing compassion, tolerance, and kindness to one another. He encouraged them to extend these virtues beyond the festive season by supporting the less privileged and vulnerable members of society.
According to him, the celebration should serve as a reminder of the importance of harmonious coexistence among people of different faiths and backgrounds, which he noted remains vital to the progress and stability of Osun State.
In the same vein, Hon. Oyewumi called on residents of the state to rally behind the All Progressives Congress ahead of the 2026 Osun State governorship election. He specifically urged voters to support the APC candidate, Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji, whom he described as a tested and capable leader with a people-oriented agenda.
He expressed confidence that Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji’s vision and good governance blueprint would foster sustainable development, economic growth, and improved welfare for the people of Osun State if elected.
Hon. Oyewumi concluded by wishing all Christians a joyful Christmas celebration and praying for peace, progress, and prosperity in Osun State and Nigeria at large.
