The former Chairman of Olorunda Local Government, Honourable Abiodun Musbau Ajisebiyawo, has felicitated the former Governor of Osun State and Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, His Excellency, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola, CON, on the occasion of his 72nd birthday.
In a congratulatory message, Ajisebiyawo described Oyetola as a leader whose public life has been defined by discipline, humility, courage and an enduring commitment to service.
He noted that Oyetola's journey from the corporate world to public administration, his tenure as Governor of Osun State and his present responsibilities at the federal level demonstrate a life devoted to contributing to the development of the state and the nation.
“At 72, Your Excellency, you have every reason to look back with gratitude to Almighty Allah for a life of service, sacrifice and remarkable accomplishments.
“For many of us in the progressive family in Osun, you remain not merely a political leader but a symbol of discipline, loyalty, resilience and purposeful leadership.
“Your commitment to the progressive cause and your continued investment in the development of our people remain worthy of recognition and appreciation.”
Ajisebiyawo further commended Oyetola's stewardship as Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, noting that the sector presents enormous opportunities for economic diversification, employment creation and sustainable national development.
He said Oyetola's experience, administrative discipline and understanding of economic development would continue to be valuable to Nigeria as the country seeks to unlock the full potential of its maritime and blue economy.
The former Council Chairman also prayed for sound health, renewed strength, wisdom and many more years of impactful service for the celebrant.
