A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Hon. Adeyeye Adeyemi Akinson, has congratulated the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola, CON, on the occasion of his 72nd birthday.
In a congratulatory message made available to newsmen in London, Akinson described Oyetola as an astute administrator, accomplished public servant and political juggernaut, whose contributions to governance and public administration have continued to attract recognition.
According to him, Oyetola’s 72nd birthday is not only an occasion to celebrate his personal milestone but also an opportunity to acknowledge his years of service and contributions to the development of Osun State and Nigeria.
Akinson said Oyetola has distinguished himself through his commitment to public service, administrative experience and leadership across different responsibilities entrusted to him.
He noted that Oyetola’s journey in public service reflects a combination of professional discipline, administrative competence and political experience, which, he said, have enabled him to contribute meaningfully to governance at both the state and federal levels.
The APC chieftain particularly commended the minister for his role in the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that the Marine and Blue Economy Ministry represents an important sector with significant potential for Nigeria’s economic development.
He said the development of the nation’s maritime sector requires effective leadership, strategic thinking and sustained commitment, expressing confidence that Oyetola’s experience in administration would continue to be valuable in advancing the objectives of the ministry.
