The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Ife South Constituency in the Osun State House of Assembly, Hon. Najeem Oyewumi, has congratulated the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, on the occasion of his 72nd birthday.
In a congratulatory message made available to newsmen in Osogbo on Tuesday, Oyewumi described Oyetola as a political juggernaut, an astute administrator and a financial expert whose years of public service have contributed significantly to the development and progress of Osun State and Nigeria at large.
He said the birthday celebration provided an opportunity to acknowledge and appreciate Oyetola's contributions to public administration, governance and national development, noting that his experience and commitment to service had continued to earn him recognition across the country.
According to Oyewumi, Oyetola's journey in public service reflects dedication, discipline and a strong commitment to the growth and development of the state and the nation.
He particularly commended the former Osun State Governor for his efforts in advancing policies and initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of citizens and strengthening the economic prospects of Nigeria.
Oyewumi stated that Oyetola's transition from the private sector into public service demonstrated how professional experience and expertise could be brought to bear on governance and institutional development.
