The Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the August 15th gubernatorial election in Osun State, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, popularly called AMBO, has eulogised his boss and mentor, the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola, CON, on the occasion of his 72nd birthday anniversary.
Oyebamiji lauded the Minister's impeccable track-records of selfless services to humanity in both public and private sectors describing him 'an exemplary leader of no equal means.'
Oyebamiji served as Managing Director, Osun State Investment Company Limited, OSICOL and two-term Finance Commissioner under Governors Rauf Aregbesola and Adegboyega Oyetola, before he was appointed as Special Adviser to the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy and subsequently appointed as Managing Director, National Inland Waterways Authority, NIWA, an agency under the Federal Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy.
AMBO, in a statement, personally signed and made available to newsmen on Monday in Osogbo, saluted the celebrant for his genuine love, compassion and empathy for mankind.
Oyebamiji specifically thanked the erstwhile Osun State Governor for his fatherly roles, mentorship and benevolence that had redefined his destiny to greatness.
He recalled Oyetola's verifiable public trackrecords, unassailable impacts, quality leadership, stellar performance and outstanding achievements while serving the good people of Osun as the Chief of Staff to Governor Rauf Aregbesola, and later as a the Executive Governor and currently, a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, describing him as "a noble leader of repute who leads with the fear of God and love for all".
Oyebamiji praised his boss for boosting the nation's revenue profile and turning around the financial fortunes of Nigeria in the maritime sector describing the astronomical transformation as unprecedented in the history of the country.
