The Director-General of the Renewed Hope for the Elderly (RHE), Dr. Bode Olaonipekun, has felicitated with the former Governor of Osun State and Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, His Excellency, Alhaji Adegboyega Isiaka Oyetola, CON, on the occasion of his 72nd birthday, describing him as a remarkable pillar of financial re-engineering and purposeful governance.
Dr. Olaonipekun who in a congratulatory message personally signed and issued from his media office, said it is a worthy moment to celebrate a distinguished statesman, accomplished technocrat, and exceptional administrator whose public service career has continued to attract commendation.
The former Commissioner for Commerce, Industry, Cooperatives and Empowerment in Osun State described Oyetola as a calm, pragmatic and whose leadership philosophy reflects humility, responsibility and dedication to the welfare of the people. He noted that Oyetola’s experience in both the private and public sectors has contributed significantly to his reputation as a seasoned administrator and resourceful manager of human and material resources.
According to him, his experience serving under Oyetola’s administration provided him with a firsthand understanding of the celebrant’s leadership qualities, describing Oyetola as an accessible, thoughtful, fair-minded and purposeful who valued competence and service delivery.
He said Oyetola’s administration demonstrated a commitment to improving the lives of citizens, particularly through interventions targeted at vulnerable members of society. Contemporary reports also documented such welfare-oriented initiatives during his tenure as Governor.
